About Texas Nights North

Texas Nights North started in February 2001. We got a call from our songwriter friends Chris Buhalis and Jeff Plankenhorn. They asked if we knew anyone like our good friends Barney & Beverly Goodman in Friendswood Texas who would be willing to put on a House concert for them up here in Coppell a suburb of Dallas. We had been to house concerts at the Goodman's Texas Nights Concerts so we knew what it was all about. Chris & Jeff's call was all it took to get us started. Barney & Beverly graciously agreed to let us be a "franchise" of their Texas Nights House Concerts. We are much indebted to them.

Everything we do at Texas Nights North is based on our motto "It's All About The Music". We are dedicated to making our home a place where songwriters will want to play. Ours is a smoke free "listening" place where music magic happens nearly every month.

Some of the artists we have hosted include Slaid Cleaves, Adam Carroll, Ray Wylie Hubbard, David LaMotte, Vince Bell, The Woodburns, Brian Burns, Jack Williams and many others. Check out the Show History Page for the complete list!
